Disneyland's 50th Birthday
In late October 2005, I made a pilgrimage to the Happiest Place on Earth to take part in Disneyland's 50th birthday celebration.  Here's a panorama shot of New Orleans Square and Frontierland I took from the balcony of the Disney Gallery:

Night Shots
When you forget to bring your tripod, night photography can be pretty tricky.  These shots were taken by draping my jacket over a trash can (fenceposts worked too), putting my digital camera on it, setting the timer and keeping my fingers crossed.  Through trial and error, I think I got some very nice pics.  Click the thumbnails to see the larger pictures.

Dumb Luck Fireworks Photos
No tripod, no timer.  Just handheld snaps of Remember . . . Dreams Come True, Disneyland's 50th birthday fireworks extravaganza--the most amazing and touching fireworks show Disney ever did.  I love these shots.

Disneyland 1961
These pictures are from color slides my parents took of Disneyland in its early years.  Over 40 years old when I had them scanned to digital, some of these shots were in incredible shape and looked like they were just taken.  Others needed a little touching up to look (almost) as good as new.  Please enjoy this nostalgic trip back in time.  Just click on the thumbnails to see the larger pictures.
